For some people, food is just a necessity to satisfy the basic needs. For others, food is more than just that. It’s something important, it’s about where they came from and plays a significant role in their understanding of life & happiness. Food is about culture, tradition family, and memories. There are many different cuisines and food preferences built by cultural and ethnic backgrounds. There is always something behind every plate of food, whether it’s a personal story or a country’s history.

This podcast was created by Nexus the web developer and executive producer as well as the artistic director, Kane and Mamad were the hosts, and Close and Astrin wrote the script. In this podcast they mention the unfortunately high level of homicides in today’s society. Our guest speaker, Maria Galati, Could not be present upon recording, so we improvised and got her responses into an auto reader.
